We will start in the main square, in front of City Hall, visiting the city’s most emblematic monuments and finishing with a tour of a famous port wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia.
In a colourful urban landscape with centuries of history, you will witness the most significant monuments of the city; the magnificence of the great architectural symbols of the Invicta, the 12th century Cathedral, the neo-Classical Stock Exchange Palace, the Clérigos Tower and St. Francisco Church. After a traditional Portuguese lunch on the esplanade set on the very significant Douro River, you will embark on a breathtaking river cruise passing under all seven bridges that line the river. Relax on this 50 minute impressive boat ride before you visit a famous port wine cellar for a tour and tasting of UNESCO worthy port wine!
